Christmas bingo for family and office parties

Bingo for your Christmas party, on paper or on phones. Every card is different, and every square is something that happens at a Christmas party: someone gets socks, an ornament falls off the tree, “Last Christmas” plays again.

Print free cards for the table, or let everyone play on their phone. No app, no sign-up. The first full line wins.

Print free Christmas bingo cards

The print button opens a page of ready-made Christmas bingo cards. Each card has 24 squares and a free square in the middle, and no two cards are the same.

It starts with 20 cards. Change the number to anything from 1 to 60, then press Print. Two cards fit on a page of US Letter or A4, with a dashed line to cut along.

  • Black and white is fine: the cards are dark text on white.
  • Print two or three spare cards for late guests.
  • Cross squares off with a pen, or cover them with candy or coins and play the same cards again.
  • For young kids, set up a game, pick 3×3 and press Print paper boards. Four cards fit on a page, with bigger squares.

How to play Christmas bingo

Hand out the cards before dinner or the gift exchange. When something on a card happens, players cross it off. Agree on the prizes first, then pick how to win:

  • A lineFive in a row, across, down or corner to corner. The free middle square counts.
  • Four cornersAll four corner squares. A quick round while people arrive.
  • BlackoutEvery square on the card. It can keep going all evening.

On phones, the game spots lines and full cards by itself and lists the winners on the TV. Four corners winners don’t go on that list: check their cards by eye and hand out that prize separately.

What’s on the cards

  • Someone wears a Christmas sweater
  • Matching sweaters spotted
  • Someone sings along to a carol
  • Someone shakes a present
  • “You shouldn’t have!”
  • A pet plays with the wrapping
  • Someone eats a candy cane
  • Someone asks for the recipe
  • Group photo by the tree
  • Someone mentions Home Alone
  • “When do we open presents?”
  • A holiday travel story

And 28 more. On the setup page you can change any of them or add your own.

Christmas movie bingo

Watching a Christmas movie tonight? Play bingo with it. Holiday films repeat the same moments: snow starts at the perfect time, someone moves back to their small hometown, a kind stranger turns out to be Santa.

Print the movie bingo cards, give one to everyone on the couch, and cross off squares as they happen on screen. It works best with a made-for-TV holiday romance.

  • Snow starts at the perfect moment
  • Someone moves back to their hometown
  • A cozy small-town bakery
  • Hot cocoa by the fire
  • A Christmas tree farm
  • An ugly Christmas sweater
  • Someone slips on the ice
  • A snowball fight
  • The town festival needs saving
  • A secret prince or princess
  • Santa might be real after all
  • A wise old stranger gives advice
  • A child writes a letter to Santa
  • A dog steals the scene
  • Baking cookies together
  • A gingerbread house contest
A sample card. Each printed card gets 16 of these 24 squares in its own mix.

Prize ideas

Small prizes work best: a candy cane, chocolate coins, a tree ornament or first pick in the gift swap. At the office, try a coffee gift card or the best parking spot for a week.

Give a prize for the first line, smaller ones for the second and third, and the best one for a blackout. On phones, the host screen keeps track of the order.
